Security: Access control and module center

Accounts should be able to see what they need but only operate what they are allowed to operate. Modules expose optional capabilities without hiding the whole system.

Demo account

The demo account can view runtime and admin console pages but should not perform operations. Script usage can be allowed for the demo account without weakening other permissions.

Role permissions

Separate page access, configuration changes, script execution, control writes, import/export, and license operations. Do not rely on hiding menu entries as the only protection.

Module Center

Use Module Center to check IO, Alarm, Trend, Federation, Retention, Event Record, WebSocket, IO State API, and Integration Script modules. Missing or unhealthy modules should be fixed before delivery.

Service state

Service status should be summarized clearly. Engineers need to know whether a module is local, reachable, running, and healthy without reading a long confusing list first.
