Runtime monitoring: check health before the page

Check system overview, memory, uptime, federation topology, module status, and service status. IO, Alarm, Trend, Event, WebSocket, IO State API, and Integration Script should be healthy for a normal site.

Monitoring

Monitoring: Runtime monitoring: check health before the page

When screens have no values, alarms do not arrive, trends are empty, or scripts do not respond, start from runtime monitoring.

System Status

Check system overview, memory, uptime, federation topology, module status, and service status. IO, Alarm, Trend, Event, WebSocket, IO State API, and Integration Script should be healthy for a normal site.

Data Retention

Review retention rules for alarms, trends, events, and operation records before the site starts accumulating production data.

Event Records

Use Event Records to trace configuration changes, imports, publishing actions, and operator actions. It is the first place to check when someone asks why a configuration changed.

Alarm and Trend Config

Configure alarm and trend participation only after Tag Diagnostics confirms the tag has correct live values, quality, address, and data type.

Tag Diagnostics

Use Tag Diagnostics to confirm live value, quality, timestamp, WebSocket updates, and write permission. If Tag Diagnostics is healthy, a screen issue is more likely a binding or menu problem.
