Select the project and confirm how results are saved

Offline mode accepts project or archive files compatible with the installed TIA Portal version, including .ap18, .ap19, .zap18, and .zap19. A project folder can also be pasted into the project-path field. Verify the full path before opening the project tree or scan-scope controls.

Step 2

Step 2: Select the project and confirm how results are saved

Confirm the project source before scanning. Save a result session for later review, or choose a file location when exporting the current result.

Supported project sources

Offline mode accepts project or archive files compatible with the installed TIA Portal version, including .ap18, .ap19, .zap18, and .zap19. A project folder can also be pasted into the project-path field. Verify the full path before opening the project tree or scan-scope controls.

Save and load result sessions

After scanning, save the result session when review will continue later. A loaded session still needs to be checked against the current project path, rules, and result-project information.

Choose the export location when exporting

The desktop workspace does not require an output directory before scanning. Choose the Excel, CSV, or JSON destination when selecting Export Current Result. Batch CLI output uses outputDir in its configuration.

Behavior after the project path changes

HQ Scan normalizes the project source to a full path. When the path changes, the application resets the project-tree selection and clears the previous scan result. Scan the new project before applying filters or exporting.

Project path during an active scan

The project-path field and project-selection button are disabled while an offline scan is running. They are enabled again after completion or cancellation. The completion status shows the result project name and full path; verify both before review.
