When to use it

Use this path when a project needs to run industrial screens on site and manage tags, menus, languages, permissions, alarms, alarm sound, trends, scripts, and licensing together.

  • Industrial HMI / SCADA screens exist or will be authored.
  • PLC, OPC UA, Modbus TCP, or third-party live data must be connected.
  • Runtime access, permissions, and history need long-term maintenance.

HQControl is the runtime platform. It does not replace PLC engineering work or the editable PowerPoint screen source. Screens are exported by HQ VISU Designer; runtime and site management are handled by HQControl.
