LAN File Sharing for Field Delivery

Mingcedar Share provides controlled LAN file exchange. Web login, roles, path limits, Windows / macOS desktop operation, and Linux systemd deployment reduce file-flow risk on site.

Mingcedar Share is suitable for delivery package distribution, log collection, visual records, reports, and temporary field material exchange. It does not replace enterprise file platforms or provide real-time runtime data acquisition and management.

• Runs on the host PC or server. Default HTTP has no transport encryption; restrict access to a controlled LAN or VPN.

Viewer can browse, preview, and download; Operator adds upload, folder creation, and rename; Manager adds deletion. Accounts are maintained on the host, and all accounts share the same root folder.

Prepare a dedicated folder, change the initial manager password locally, assign roles, and enable the required LAN address. Use Viewer for preview and download, or Operator to collect files. Confirm received files, retain backups, and disable temporary accounts after delivery.

Upload requests default to 512 MiB including all selected files and form overhead. Duplicate names are saved separately. Deletion supports files and empty folders, without a recycle bin. Text previews are limited to 2 MiB; download Office documents to open them.

Windows and macOS use desktop apps; launch at login only opens the app. Linux can run continuously through systemd. macOS requires version 13 or later. Downloads lists available platforms and architectures.
