System Status: services and resources

Location: Admin → System Status. Requires system:view.

Check Site, version, uptime and update time in the header; refresh as needed.

Inspect the service, device-connection and continuously collected Tag metrics. They link to Modules, Devices and Tag management respectively. Service availability, PLC connectivity and collection are separate states.

Resource trends contain CPU, memory and disk samples collected during the current page session. Memory is measured against the server capacity or runtime limit indicated beside it. An unavailable metric does not mean zero usage. Click a resource to highlight it; click again to restore all series.

Check runtime service states. Manage opens Module Center; Event Records at the bottom helps trace incidents.

Expected result Session resource charts show current operation; they are not a long-term resource archive.

Alarms: realtime, history and Top 10

Location: the runtime alarm menu. Projects can customize menu labels.

Choose Realtime, History or Top 10, then filter by device, message, Tag or group. History and Top 10 support a time range.

Check device, message, category, occurrence time and status for each event. Scroll to load more records.

Each batch displays up to 5,000 records. Use Next batch at the limit, or Back to latest records to return to the first batch.

Top 10 lists frequent alarms by count, not individual event states.

Acknowledge and shelve alarms

Actions require alarm:ack or alarm:manage and must be enabled for the current page.

Open the Status / Actions control on an alarm row to acknowledge it or select a shelving duration. Unshelve an alarm from the same control.

Batch acknowledgement handles at most 2,000 eligible loaded events per submission. Review the displayed count; process remaining events in further batches.

Check process and acknowledgement states separately. Acknowledgement means seen; neither acknowledged nor closed proves field recovery.

If IO is unavailable or quality is invalid, inspect the device and Tag before evaluating the condition. Observe current events again after data returns.

Export alarms

Export requires alarm:export.

Select view, Device, keywords and time, then load the required records.

Choose Export loaded CSV or Export loaded PDF. PDF uses browser printing and supports at most 1,000 records; narrow the range or use CSV above that limit.

Check file filters, times and counts. Only loaded data is exported; load and export other batches separately.

Trends: live values and history

Location: the runtime trend menu. The realtime catalog also lists only Tags with history recording enabled. Historical queries additionally require records in the selected interval. Export requires trend:export.

Choose Realtime or History, filter by device and search terms, and select Overlay Tags on the right. Up to 32 Tags can be selected.

Realtime data accumulates after entering the page, retaining up to five hours within the point budget. Use History and select a time range for earlier data.

Zoom into a time range in the chart, or switch to Data table to inspect sample times, values and quality. The chart draws only good-quality points that can be converted to numbers; invalid samples leave gaps.

Historical comparison: choose two Tag groups and periods

Switch to History on the trend page and select Historical comparison. On first opening, group A uses the current history period and group B is prefilled with the immediately preceding period of equal length. Both can be changed.

Choose start and end times, a device and Tags for each of groups A and B, then select Run comparison. Each group needs at least one Tag, each period can span at most 365 days, and the two groups can contain at most 32 distinct Tags in total. The same Tag may appear in both groups.

Check the actual start and end dates and legend for A and B. The charts align by elapsed time from each period's start, not by the same calendar moment; the shorter period leaves blank space at the end. Dragging or zooming one chart synchronizes the other's visible time range.

Select Edit comparison to change the selection. Historical comparison shows only data actually stored in the chosen periods; if curves are missing, check archiving, time range, Tag quality and access.

Realtime comparison: inspect the last 15 minutes

Switch to Realtime on the trend page, select Realtime comparison, and choose a device and Tags for each of groups A and B.

Select at least one Tag per group and at most 32 distinct Tags across both groups; the same Tag can be used in both. Select Start realtime comparison.

Use the legend to identify A and B curves. Both charts update on the same actual time axis, showing samples received in the current session within the latest 15 minutes. Intervals with no accumulated samples remain empty. Pause view freezes the display; zooming or dragging the time range also pauses following live data.

Select Resume live to restore the rolling window. Data table fixes a snapshot at the current moment; return to Chart to resume live updates. Back to trends closes the comparison.

Display modes: curves, table and layout

Standard trends and comparison results can switch between Chart and Data table. Comparison results can also use Side by side or Stacked layout.

Choose Polyline or Step line in Chart view. Smaller series automatically show circular sample markers.

In a comparison, switch between side-by-side and stacked layouts. Adjusting one chart's visible time range updates the other chart's range.

Use Data table to inspect time, Tag, value, quality and aggregation interval for each row. Bad-quality or empty samples are not drawn as valid numeric chart values.

Export trends and comparison results

Location: More options at the upper right of a trend chart or comparison result. Export requires trend:export and data points available for export.

For a standard trend, CSV contains the currently loaded chart data. In Chart view, export the current trend chart as PNG.

For a comparison, CSV contains only points within both charts' current visible time ranges. In Chart view, export both charts as one PNG in the current side-by-side or stacked layout.

PNG export is unavailable in Data table view. Exporting a realtime comparison PNG pauses the view; select Resume live afterward if needed.
